Pattern of deployment
Pawan Hans provides helicopters under two Options - long term lease and charter as under:-
Option 1: Long term lease basis
Under this option the helicopter is provided on dedicated basis. The helicopter, crew, inventory etc. are based at the Base designated by the customer. The helicopter would be at the disposal of the customer and they can utilize the same as per their requirements within the rules/regulations of Director General of Civil Aviation etc.
The helicopters are provided on fixed monthly plus hourly flying charges. These charges are inclusive of fuel, landing, parking charges, Full maintenance support with spares etc. However, mobilization/demobilization will be charged extra ex-Delhi/Mumbai and back based on actual flying hours.
Further, the helicopter will be positioned at the Base designated by the customer. In case, our crew are required to stay away from the designated Base, then in that case boarding, lodging and transportation for crew are to be provided by the customer at their cost. The fluctuation in foreign exchange, fuel prices, custom duty etc. would be adjusted accordingly in hourly flying charges as per standard terms of the company.
Option 2: Charter
Under this option i.e. short term/charter (on as and when required basis), the commitment could only be undertaken ex-Delhi/Mumbai, if the required helicopter is available on the date/days of your requirement and charges are applicable ex-Delhi/Mumbai and back to Delhi/Mumbai, as the case may be.
The broad terms for charter are as under :-
