The Vigilance set up in PHL is presently headed by Sh. Nikhil K. Kanodia, IPS, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO). There are two Vigilance units spread across the organization at its Regions i.e. Western Region at Mumbai and Northern Region at Rohini Heliport, New Delhi. Under the able guidance of CVO, Vigilance Department in PHL has been constantly endeavouring towards evolving best corporate practices.
The vigilance functions are integral part of Pawan Hans Management. Vigilance department has an important role to play in ushering transparency, efficiency and integrity to working of the organization. Over the years, vigilance philosophy has been changing towards Preventive methods. The idea is to be more proactive rather than reactive.
