Pawan Hans in association with PHD Chamber of Commerce organized “Heli-Expo, India-International Civil Helicopter Conclave 2017” on 4th & 5th November 2017 at Pawan Hans Heliport at Rohini, New Delhi.

Pawan Hans organized India’s first Heli Expo India & International Civil Helicopters Conclave 2017 to Enhance Connectivity in General Civil Aviation, Heli-Tourism & Infrastructure. The Heli Expo was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of Tourism Uttrakhand, Sh. Satpal Maharajji, Secy MOCA, Sh.R.N Choubey, CMD PHL, Dr.B.P. Sharma among other dignitaries.

Uttrakhand Tourism Minister and Chairman of the Uttrakhand Tourism Development Board, Sh. Satpal Maharajji urged the centre to encourage and optimise Air Travel through helicopter services in the hill states.

Speaking at the Heli Expo India 2017, Secy MOCA, Sh.R.N Choubey said these chopper services should serve as an alternative to travelling by road in taxis, which takes a longer time and asked DIAL to explore the possibilities for making space for helicopters at Delhi Airport, so that heli-services are launched to provide direct connectivity to Air Travellers.
