Mrs. Usha Padhee, IAS takes Additional Charge of CMD, Pawan Hans

Mrs. Usha Padhee, IAS has taken over the additional charge of Chairperson-cum-Managing Director, Pawan Hans Limited (PHL), a Mini Ratna CPSE, on 6th April 2019. She is the first woman CMD of an Aviation CPSE.

Mrs. Padhee has a rich experience in Administration, Public Policy, Training & Research and Aviation Management. She has contributed immensely in the field of education, Water resources, Textiles & Handicrafts and Aviation industry. Her passion for sharing knowledge ensures value creation down the line. She has participated actively in panel discussions, symposiums, conferences and other General Aviation forum. Presently, she is holding a position of Joint Secretary in Ministry of Civil Aviation since 2015 and has been an instrumental in framing Regional Connectivity Scheme.

She is Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and has done Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom in 2010.
