Pawan Hans Helicopter Training Institute (PHTI) is an initiative of Pawan Hans Limited in pursuit of excellence. The institute is approved by Director
General of Civil Aviation – Govt of India to conduct Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses. The Institute was inaugurated on 22 Oct 2009 in Mumbai.
The AME course conforms to the approved ab-initio training requirements in the field of Aircraft maintenance engineering to prepare candidates to appear
for basic AME licensing examinations conducted by DGCA.
Course offered : Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME)
Duration of the course : 3 Years Full time
Semesters : Six
Stream : Mechanical (RA, JE & PE)
Intake Capacity : Infrastructure to admit 30 students per batch per year.
Qualification for admission: 10+2 (PCM) or Any other equivalent/higher qualification
Mode : Training consists of both theory and practical sessions. Students will have access to study maintenance of helicopters in a CAR 145 approved
maintenance organization.
Faculty : Faculty teams with a wealth of academic, practical and corporate experience are part of the Institute. Faculty includes, experienced Engineers,
Pilots & industry experts covering engineering management, marketing, finance, Infotech and material management.
